[Desktop] How to Record a Conversation

Prerequisite

Note: The red outline indicates where to press

1. Navigate to the https://app.brevi.tech/dashboard.
2. Click “Record” tab in the left navigation sidebar inside the dashboard.
   
   
3. Select the Mode you would like to record in: Default Mode or Speed Mode.
   
   
4. Press the record button to start the recording.
   
   1. Proceed with the appointment as you normally would. Brevi is able to filter and remove non-medical conversation, extracting the most important parts to include in the summary and SOAP note. There is no need to change or adapt your speech; Brevi works well at normal conversation speeds.
   2. Before finalizing the submission, we highly recommend you record a brief summary reiterating any physical exam findings as well as the plan and recommendations for the session. A short 20-30 second recap is enough and will definitely make the final clinical notes generated that much more robust.
      
5. After finishing the conversation with your patient, please press the red rectangle to stop recording.
   
6. Enter the summary name you want the new clinal note to have.
   
7. (Optional) You can associate the new clinical note to a patient.
   
   1. Select the desired patient from the “Patient” drop down menu.

8. Click “Submit.”
   
   1. It may take up to 2 minutes to encrypt and securely upload the information to our servers for processing. 
      
9. After you see the screen similar to the one below, it means that our servers have received the information and it will only take up to a minute for the clinical notes to be generated.
   
   1. Note: You will be notified by email as soon as the clinical notes are created.
      
10. In order to view the generated clinical notes, please click the “Clinical Notes” tab in the left navigation sidebar inside the dashboard.
    
    
11. Find the clinical note with the name that you inputted in the prior step and either click the title or the arrow to the right of the row.
    
12. The Brevi note is generated in Summary format, SOAP format, and Table format.
    
13. (Optional) If you are not satisfied with the quality of the generated Clinical Note, you can click the “Regenerate Clinical Notes” button and Brevi will generate a new Clinical Note (It will be in Default Mode, so it will take about 5 minutes (about half of the time of the recorded conversation)). This will not count as a new Clinical Note and will not consume a token.
    
    

Pause & Resume the recording

Brevi also offers you the ability to pause the recording process and resume it afterward. This feature can be very useful in cases where a patient needs to step out or the session is interrupted. To pause the recording please press the red rectangle at the bottom of the page.

When ready to continue, press the “Resume Recording” button as shown in the image below.

Delete the recording

If a recording was started by mistake, please click the “Delete the Recording” box. You will be prompted to click the “Confirm button to confirm the deletion. After confirmation, the current session will be erased completely.
